Introducing Keno

[ English ]

Keno is one of those games you either know about or you don’t. It is typically considered a lottery in the casino. Similar to the lottery, the game consists of numbers being selected. The object is to select the numbers that will be selected. The game of Keno can either be rapid or slow depending on the casino. By betting on Keno on the internet you can set the speed of the game. For me, I like live keno. You chill in a lounge, if you like, and play. Keno is a game that you don’t need to be in the lounge to play and be a winner. For example, you could put in a ticket for 20 games and then head off to wager on another game in the casino or even your hotel room if you are staying at the casino.

Keno Game Board

The game is wagered on on a game board. The Keno game board is made up of eighty numbers total – numbered one though eighty. The first 40 are referred to as the top portion and the 2nd forty are known as the bottom portion.

Competing in Keno

Every round of Keno goes in the same manner. The round begins, and twenty numbers are selected. The casino may be using the ball system. Ping pong style balls are sucked up and selected, exactly like the lottery on television. Some other casinos use pc’s. If a number you marked is selected, that’s called a "hit." When all 20 numbers are selected, the game concludes and winning tickets are paid.

There is a fair amount of choices in the game of Keno. For instance, you might select one number, 2 numbers and so on up to 20 numbers. Normally, you have to get a majority of your numbers to win anything. For example, if you choose six numbers, you will usually have to get 3 to get your money back.

Keno Payouts

The pay outs in Keno are fairly decent. The probability of winning is dependent on the total numbers selected. For example, if you pick two numbers, you have a six percent probability of hitting your ticket. Every casino has their own payouts. If you are playing online, be sure you shop all over for the best payouts first.
