Keno Strategies That Will Make You Rich

[ English ]

It won’t ordinarily be deemed the best game in the universe of wagering, but keno has millions of zealous supporters. And it should! It’s a regularly entertaining lotto-ish game that’s a snap to learn, abundantly available in lots of assorted styles, and one that can return millions of dollars for those who learn its heaps of subtle intricacies. But let’s deal with the beginner’s rules for now.

When explaining keno to amateurs, some gambling masters compare it to bingo. This is at least in part correct, in that each game is basically numerical. Yet to take that comparison too far might be to undervalue the great many unique characteristics that make keno so entertaining. Not like bingo, keno enthusiasts have the power to select the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the user is granted an additional degree of personal responsibility by being able to pick as many (or as few) numbers as she desires. And it doesn’t take a nuclear physicist to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your handpicked numbers with a standardball point pen like you had when you were a kid.

Now that you’ve selected your numbers, carry the card back to the keno pit manager at the keno booth. The keno pit manager will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Make sure no to drop this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your loud shirt and would like to help out, without a winning ticket with you, you will be given exactly $.00 for your winning card.

OK, so there you have strategy #1: always be sure to keep your keno receipt. Let’s advance to something a tiny bit more advanced, ok?

Once you’ve picked your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and observe the action take place on the keno monitor. That is where the winning numbers appear for us. If you picked winners, mark your card accordingly. Sake care not to dally, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You want to get up to the keno booth to get your winnings, and a new keno game will almost certainly start within not too many minutes.

Strategy number 2: always make it back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you can not trust yourself to meet that 5 minute deadline each time, you always have the option of purchasing a "multi-race" ticket. These include the self same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 cards. When the maximum amount of games (the same as the amount of tickets) is played, you should then get off your numb bum and go collect your winnings.

Yet another choice is known as a "stray and play" keno slip, which normally lets you make number choices for 30 rounds or more. Golly, you can take all the time in the world and not have to worry about getting back in time to get your numbers. Most "stray and play" cards are good for up to a whole year after you by it!

And now you have learned a couple of indispensable methods for winning keno. If you are an advanced user, they might seem to be very obvious. Still, it will never hurt to brush up on the basic techniques, and if you are a new player, every little bit of direction will help make your keno experience more agreeable.
