Keno Methods That Make Money
It will not generally be thought of as the most fun game in the universe of gambling, but keno has loads of devout players. And so it should! It’s a consistently thrilling lotto-esque game that’s a breeze to play, readily available in a number of alternate variations, and one that will return mega-dollars for people who learn its numerous subtle intricacies. But let’s begin with the basic facts for now.
When describing keno to newbies, some betting pros compare it to lotto. This is at least in part correct, in that both games are fundamentally numerical. However, to carry that comparison too far would be to think too little of the many unique traits that make keno so entertaining. Unlike bingo, keno players have the ability to select the numbers for every card.
Keno cards have a grand total of eighty numbers, but the player is granted an extra degree of personal responsibility by being able to select as numerous (or as few) numbers as she desires. And it doesn’t take a doctor of keno to ascertain how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your picked numbers with a ordinarypen like you had when you were in school.
Now that you have marked your numbers, take the keno card back to the clerk at the keno booth. The clerk will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Don’t lose this (potentially) expensive piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your pretty face and would like to help out, without a winning receipt in hand, you will be given exactly $.00 for your efforts.
Now there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno slip. Let’s get on to something a bit more useful, yes?
After you’ve marked your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and observe the action happen on the video monitor. That is where the winning numbers are shown in lights. If you checked winning numbers, mark your card accordingly. Be sure not to dilly dally, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You must get up to the keno stand to get your winnings, and then a new round of keno will certainly start within not too many minutes.
Strategy number two: always be sure to get back to the keno booth on time!
Assuming you can’t trust yourself to beat that five-minute margin each and every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from two to twenty cards. When the maximum amount of keno games (the same as the number of tickets) is played, you will then be able to get off your numb rump and go retrieve your winnings.
Yet an additional option is recognized as a "stray and play" keno slip, which commonly lets you make number choices for thirty rounds or more. Golly, you can take a world tour and not have to worry about getting back in time to redeem your numbers. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after purchase!
And now you are aware of a number of necessary strategies for winning keno. If you are a skillful gambler, they may appear to be incredibly obvious. But it will not hurt to brush up on the basics, and if you are a new player, every bit of direction will help make your keno playing more agreeable.
