Keno Introduction

[ English ]

Keno is one of those games you either have knowledge of or you do not. It’s basically deemed as a lotto in the casino. Similar to the lottery, the game consists of numbers being selected. The goal is to select the numbers that come up. The game of Keno can either be fast or slow depending on the casino. By wagering on Keno online you can set the pace of the game. For me, I love real life keno. You sit in a lounge, if you wish, and play. Keno is a game that you do not have to be in the lounge to play and win. For instance, you could purchase a ticket for twenty games and then go wager on something else in the casino or even your room if you’re staying at the casino.

Keno Board

The game is wagered on on a board. The Keno game board is made up of eighty numbers total – numbered 1 though 80. The top 40 are referred to as the top half and the second forty are called the bottom portion.

Playing Keno

Every round of Keno goes in the same manner. The round starts, and twenty numbers are drawn. The casino may be utilizing the ball system. Ping pong style balls are sucked up and picked, just like the lottery on TV. Some other casinos utilize computers. If a number you marked is chosen, that is called a "hit." When all twenty numbers have been picked, the game ends and winning tickets are paid-out.

There is a fair amount of choices in the game of Keno. For instance, you might select just one number, two numbers and so forth-up to 20 numbers. Typically, you have to hit a majority of your numbers to come away with anything. For example, if you select 6 numbers, you will normally have to get three to win your money back.

Keno Payouts

The payouts in Keno are fairly high. The odds of winning is based on the total numbers checked. For example, if you select 2 numbers, you have a six percent chance of hitting your ticket. Every casino’s Keno department has their own payouts. If you are looking to play online, make sure you look all over for the biggest payouts first.
